Penne Pasta with Sauteed Veggies
Sauteed cherry tomatoes, garlic and mushrooms in butter

This is a great simple recipe. I have a 16 month old so I usually keep cooked pasta in the refrigerator. Plus, you can substitute any of your favorite veggies to make this.


  • Your favorite GF pasta
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter



Adding penne to the mix.

Usually I put a tablespoon of olive oil in the pan to sauteed the vegetables but in this picture, I am using butter since I was out of olive oil. Chop up your vegetables and add to the pan. Sauteed about 10 minutes. Then, add your cooked pasta and a tablespoon of butter. I am using gluten free penne. Mix the pasta with the sauteed for a few minutes to allow the butter to soak into the pasta and your meat is ready to eat! I  sprinkle a little salt and pepper on This is a great side dish for dinner or for lunch. Also, you can add your favorite protein! Enjoy!
